Author Guidelines
All papers submitted to the Journal of Development and Tourism Economics must be written in good Indonesian. The work may not be published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The official language of the manuscript to be published in the Journal of Development and Tourism Economics is Indonesian.
1. General Writer's Guidelines
All manuscripts must be submitted using Online Submission at the portal address https://www.interest.biz.id/jurnalinterest/index.php/home, where the author registers as an Author online. If the author has problems in online submission, please contact the Editorial Office of the Journal of Interest: Economics, Business and Accounting Review at email admin@interest.biz.id or interest@gmail.com
2. Manuscript Templates
Manuscripts must be prepared according to the author's guidelines. The MS Word version of the writing template can be downloaded via the Journal of Interest: Economics, Business and Accounting Review web page
3. Manuscript review
Each submitted paper is reviewed independently by at least two peer-reviewers. Decisions for publication, correction, or rejection are based on the reviewers' reports/recommendations and are made by the Editor. If two or more reviewers deem a manuscript unfit for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the author.
4. Revise the manuscript
Manuscripts sent back to the author for revision must be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to the editor via the Online Submission Interface. Revised manuscripts returned more than one month will be considered new submissions.
5. Online Submission Guidelines
Authors must first register as Writers in the Web Journal of Interest: Economics, Business and Accounting Review will then be offered as Reviewers. Authors must fill out the form in as much detail as possible where an asterisk must be included. After all form text boxes are filled in, the author clicks the “Register” button to continue registration. Therefore, the Author is taken to the online author submission interface where the Author must click on “New Submission”. The following are the steps for submitting a new manuscript:
Step 1 - Start Submission: Select the appropriate journal section, namely Original Research Article, Review Article, or Short Communication. Thus, authors should tick off the submission checklist.
Step 2 – Upload Submission: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the Upload submission file item and select the manuscript document file (.doc/.docx) that will be sent, then click the "Upload" button until the file has been uploaded
Step 3 – Entering Submission Metadata: In this step, detailed author metadata must be entered including the corresponding author being tagged. After that, the manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and pasting it in the text box including keywords.
Step 4 – Uploading Additional Files: Additional files must be uploaded
Step 5 – Confirming Submission. Authors must check the manuscript documents uploaded in this step. To submit a manuscript to the Journal of Interest: Economics, Business and Accounting Review, click the Finish Submission button after the documents are correct. The corresponding author or primary contact will receive notification via email and will be able to view the submission's progress through the editorial process by logging into the journal's website address.
After this submission, the author who sent the manuscript will receive a confirmation email regarding the submission. Therefore, Authors can track their submission status at any time by logging into the online submission interface. Submission tracking includes manuscript review status and editorial processes.
Rules for Authors
Report
The author should inform the process and the result of the research to the editor fairly, distinctly, and comprehensively as well as keep the research data carefully and securely.
Originality and plagiarism
The author should guarantee the manuscript is original works, originally written by the authors, and not other works/ideas. Authors are prohibited to write the references without using appropriate citation or quotation.
Resubmission
The author must inform that the submitted manuscript has never been submitted/published in any other journals. If there is a case of resubmission of the manuscript to other publishers, the editorial board has the right to reject it.
Status of the author
The author should inform the editors that the author has the competence or qualifications in certain areas of expertise that are in accordance with the field of published science, namely librarianship. The author who sends the script to the editor is the corresponding author (co-author) so that if a problem is found in the process of publishing the manuscript, it can be immediately settled.
Errors in Manuscript Writing
The author should immediately inform the editor if there is an error in writing the manuscript, both the review of results and edits. The errors include writing the names, affiliations/agencies, quotation/citation, and other writings that may affect the meaning and the significance of the manuscript. If that happens, the author must immediately propose a repair of the manuscript.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.
Aknowledgement of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
